How should we use this site?

Well, in my experience, it takes roughly 60 practice problems for most students to be really comfortable with a particular math skill.  So after reading through the notes and watching the video, then try doing the practice problems.  They usually have an answer key so that you can check your answers when you are done.  

Math is like a building.  You have to start by getting a good solid foundation, and then everything is built up on top of those ideas.  When I set up the order for things on this web site, I am going to do the ideas in order, so start at the beginning and then build up from there.  For the math basics, I am using the order they are covered in school.  For the high school classes, I will use the same order that I use when teaching my high school classes.  The order does not always matter, but sometimes it matters a lot.
